Do you think they’re seeing that those of us that were punished by the law, and found 12-step programs, are more awake and aware of their alternate agendas? Without a spiritual awakening, I’m sure I would have tried to be the first in line, to take the poison.

‘there but for the grace of God go I.’

Yes, we are enemy number one. We've experienced both sides of criminality, and therefore have an expertise that surpasses anything one could attain from a college degree or a textbook. We're much more difficult to take down, given our experience, and that's why our voices are more important than ever right now.

Safeway never said it was closing because of shoplifting, just a bunch of shitposters on Twitter. They are closing because they sold the land to a real estate developer who plans to build housing there.

I’m sure shoplifting and crime had nothing to do with it. Again, it’s ok to admit there’s problems.

Your article does not have any statement from Safeway at all, unless I missed something. T Wolf claimed it did, but he gets paid to spread his message of doom loop. He also wasn’t able to find anyone from Safeway who said that was a reason either. Stores in general have shrinkage problems. People claim that the one at Mission and 29th does but I was there recently and it seems to be doing fine. It’s a minor annoyance to have to get someone to unlock the condoms but not a big deal. Is it a big deal to you?

There was a bad problem with shoplifting at that Safeway. Shoplifting is bad. It leads to stores closing, commercial insurance going up, people moving to amazon to anvoid the locked up items, etc. it’s ok to admit shoplifting is bad.

Sure shoplifting is bad.

Yes, shoplifting is bad, and crime is bad, and both end up hurting the lower class a lot more than the upper class. Trust me, I'm poor. I've lived in a "food desert" before. SF is a wonderful city, and most of it looks gorgeous. Oakland less so (this place is pretty fucked up) but there's some nice parts. Both places have some major problems, and my whole point is that it's ok to acknowledge these problems. You don't lose your phony progressive-tm lame-ass status for saying this is a problem. Obviously the biggest LARPers and radical losers will call you a far-right shill, but those basement-dwellers are just severely mentally ill. I'm not sure who you are, or if you'd like to discuss this on the phone or meet for coffee and have a real discussion, because comments over substack are obviously not a good format. Also no one pays me just FYI. I'm not sure about Wolf or anyone else.
